Mujib Borsho activities planned

BIDA has taken initiatives for hosting series of events to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangladesh’s graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status. BIDA has proposed the initiation of the Bangabandhu Investment Award and is working to prepare a guideline for the award.

BIDA will also organise an International Investment Summit, for which a committee has been formed. BIDA also plans to organize programmes at regional levels – involving partners such as the EU, ASEAN and OIC -- to celebrate the Father of the Nation’s historic birth centennial and LDC graduation.
