The registration of branch, liaison and representative office is processed through OSS portal. Information of documents required for registration are easily available in the portal. An inter-ministerial committee examines all applications received and gives approval to open office if all information and documents are submitted according to BIDA’s requirement. This committee sits twice a month to give approval to open office in Bangladesh. Detail information will be available in the Guideline for granting permission for establishing/opening of branch, liaison and representative office for foreign companies and issuing work permit of foreign nationals. A fee is applicable for the registration of commercial office along with 15% VAT imposed by Government of Bangladesh.
